Unit 1: To Be in the world and describe everything in it.
Unit 1 reviews and builds upon several core concepts learned in Spanish 1 such as: The verbs Ser and Estar, adjectives, gender and number, definite and indefinite articles, regular -ar, -er and -ir verbs.

Students use concepts learned in Spanish 1: Ser, Estar, Definite and Indefinite Articles, Gender and Number, Regular verbs, to build review and strengthen thier spanish language foundation in order to build more complex grammatical structures. 

Students begin with review of the verb Ser and descriptive adjectives while adding review of Definite and Indefinite articles in the context of Gender and number then transition to uses of the verb Estar and other regular verbs in the present tense.
