What are text and graphic features and why are they important to better understand what you are reading?
Students will identify and use text and graphic features in informational text to help them understand and answer questions about the text. Students will use context clues to determine the meaning of the bold print. Students will be able to explain the importance of text and graphic features and how they are going to use them to help them as a reader.
