How can time be expressed to the nearest minute? What is the best way to solve a time problem?

Measurement - Time
In this unit, students will tell and write time to the nearest minute. Students will calculate elapsed time to the nearest minute using addition and subtraction strategies.
Students will tell time to the nearest half hour, quarter hour, five minutes, and minute. Students will find start times, end times, and the time between events using elapsed time strategies. Students will solve problems involving measurement and estimation of intervals of time.
